Byron Eaton led the way with 20 points on Friday afternoon as the No. 8 Oklahoma State Cowboys got past the No. 9 Tennessee Volunteers 77-75 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Volunteers had been listed as 2.5-point favorites in this contest, while the combined score fell UNDER the day's posted total (157.5).
Marshall Moses added 16 points for Oklahoma State in the win, while Terrel Harris chipped in with 15 points. Tyler Smith led the Volunteers with 21 points in the loss. |
