The Michigan State Spartans defeated the reigning champion Kansas Jayhawks 67-62 in the NCAA Midwest Regional semifinals Friday night.
Michigan State covered the 1-point spread, while the 129 points fell UNDER the posted total of 138.
Goran Suton led Michigan State with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Kalin Lucas added 18 in the win.
Dole Aldrich netted 17 points along with 14 rebounds for a double-double, and Sherron Collins had 20 points in the loss.
